Ethos   The trustees and staff of Peaslake Village School are committed to providing excellence in early education within a caring and loving environment. They seek to celebrate and build upon the role of parents by creating a family atmosphere in the school, by informing and involving parents in all aspects of the school's work. Our overriding mission is to serve and enhance the local community through the formal education we offer, and through strong internal networks between children, parents and adults in the village community and beyond.   Values Our school curriculum is underpinned by the values which inform everything we study and undertake to teach. The uniqueness and equal value of each child and the importance of their  spiritual, moral, social and cultural development alongside their intellectual and spiritual growth. The importance of everyone in both the school and the wider community,  and the promotion of co-operation and understanding between them regardless of language, colour, creed or ability. The partnership and participation of parents, the first and most important  teachers of our children. The importance of our environment and the need to develop knowledge  and understanding of it and also love and respect for it.
